OVERVIEW
CMAK was commissioned by the Department of Transport (DoT) to revolutionise the access control infrastructure, enabling seamless centralised management across all sites through cutting-edge cloud technology. This innovative system incorporated state-of-the-art Bluetooth card readers in tandem with the highly sophisticated Inner Range Integriti access control system.
Scope
The extensive works have involved the installation of:
- Project management.
- Transfer of user access from old system to new.
- Mange card holders.
- Working in a live environment and maintaining a functioning system during the works.
- Engagement with various stake holders.
- Commissioning and programming.
Project Challenges
Medium level challenge that the team working on the project discovered was that the old system in place had not been clearly wired and the function of each door had different variables. The documentation provided was also not kept well resulting in it being illegible.
How we managed this
Continual engagement with all stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements have been met. Vigorous testing and commissioning throughout the project.
